Biography

A core belief drives my work in environmental economics: while economic incentives shape human behavior, environmental health, social values, and equity are often left out of the equation. 

My research focuses on how land use decisions can be optimized when agroecosystem services and long-term sustainability are fully considered. Beyond land use, my research extends to how individual decisions reflect—or fail to reflect—environmental, social, and ethical considerations, with implications for social welfare and resource efficiency.
